Yet most iPhone 16’s do not have this problem; it may be a manufacturing defect in some 16’s. Mine has never exhibited this, but there have been an unusually large number of posts about it. You should contact Apple Support and open a support case; that puts you on record as having this problem, and also lets Apple compile reports of the issue.
